Walk Where Jesus Walked

Biblical tours of the Holy Land, with a licensed Israeli guide who lives on the land.

Plan Your Pilgrimage

I am Amitai, though most call me Tai. For more than twelve years I have walked Christians through this land as a licensed Israeli guide, from the shore of the Galilee up to the gates of Jerusalem. I live here, on my farm Havat HaChaim in Natur on the Golan Heights, and I do not believe the land is a backdrop to the Bible. I believe the land is the Bible, still standing. Come and let the ground do the speaking. Whether it is your first time or your tenth, I will help you read it slowly, walk it prayerfully, and carry it home.

In the Footsteps of Jesus

From the breathtaking Galilee, to the splendor of the Dead Sea, to the awe of Jerusalem.

Day One

Arrival · Caesarea · Mount Carmel · Nazareth

I meet you at Ben Gurion Airport and we drive to Caesarea, seat of the Roman governors, where Philip first preached the gospel to the Gentiles and Cornelius was baptized. We climb Mount Carmel, where Elijah faced the prophets of Baal, then walk through Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus, and Cana, where He turned the water to wine.

Day Two

Mount of Beatitudes · Capernaum · Sea of Galilee

We ascend the Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount was given, and stop at Tabgha, the place of the loaves and the fishes. In Capernaum we stand in the synagogue where Jesus taught. We share a lakeside fish lunch, sail across the Sea of Galilee, see the 2,000-year-old boat at Ginosar, and pause where the Jordan leaves the lake.

Day Three

Qumran · Dead Sea · Masada

South along the Jordan, past Jericho, the oldest city on earth. At Qumran we see the caves that held the Dead Sea Scrolls, the find that confirmed the accuracy of Scripture. We ride the cable car up Masada, the fortress of the last Jewish stand against Rome, then float in the Dead Sea at the lowest point on the planet, and arrive in Jerusalem.

Day Four

Mount of Olives · Palm Sunday Road · Mount Zion

From the Mount of Olives we walk down the Palm Sunday road, pausing at Dominus Flevit and the Garden of Gethsemane. On Mount Zion we visit the house of Caiaphas and the Upper Room of the Last Supper.

Day Five

The Old City of Jerusalem

The Temple Mount, then the Via Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross. We worship at St. Anne's and the Pools of Bethesda, pass Ecce Homo, wind through the alleys and the covered bazaar, and end in quiet communion at the Garden Tomb.

Day Six

Jerusalem & Bethlehem

Yad Vashem, Israel's memorial to the six million. The Israel Museum, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the model of Jerusalem as it was in the days of Jesus. Then Bethlehem, the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square, ending at Shepherds' Field, where the tidings first came.

Day Seven

Departure

Home again, with a renewed sense of faith, and the land still walking with you.

This is one example. Every journey I build is shaped around your group, your faith, and your time.
